Luxury Private Chef – Terms & Conditions


1. Booking & Reservations

1.1 A booking is considered confirmed only once a non-refundable deposit is received.1.2 The remaining balance is due 2 days before the event date unless otherwise agreed in writing.1.3 Failure to make payment by the deadline may result in automatic cancellation.


2. Deposits & Payments

2.1 Deposit amounts:

  • 50% of the total estimate, depending on service level and date.2.2 Deposits secure the date, staff, suppliers, and menu planning.2.3 All prices are quoted in pound sterling and may be subject to tax.2.4 Final charges may adjust based on guest count changes, menu upgrades, rental items, or additional staffing.


3. Cancellation Policy

3.1 Client-Initiated Cancellations

  • More than 30 days before event: Deposit retained; additional payments refunded.

  • 15–30 days before event: 50% of total service fee is due.

  • Less than 14 days before event: 100% of total service fee is due.

3.2 Chef-Initiated CancellationsIn the rare event the Chef must cancel, all payments (including deposit) will be refunded in full. We may also assist with arranging a comparable replacement chef.


4. Menu Customisation & Changes

4.1 Menus are finalised no later than 10 days before your event.4.2 Changes made after finalisation may incur additional fees.4.3 We accommodate dietary restrictions when properly disclosed in advance.4.4 We are not liable for undisclosed allergies or intolerances.


5. Guest Count Adjustments

5.1 Final guest count is required 7 days before the event.5.2 Increases may be accepted at our discretion and may incur expedited sourcing fees.5.3 Decreases after the final count are non-refundable.


6. Kitchen, Equipment & Space Requirements

6.1 Client must provide a clean, safe, and functional kitchen unless the service includes a mobile kitchen setup.6.2Client is responsible for ensuring adequate access to the property and working appliances.


7. Service Staff & Timing

7.1 Staffing requirements vary by service type and guest count.7.2 Overtime fees apply for events that exceed the scheduled end time.7.3 Setup and breakdown time are included in staff hours unless otherwise stated.


8. Alcohol & Beverage Service

8.1 We do not supply alcohol unless legally permitted in your jurisdiction.8.2 Bartending or sommelier services must comply with local laws.8.3 Client assumes all responsibility for guest alcohol consumption.


9. Health, Safety & Liability

9.1 We adhere to all professional food safety standards.9.2 Client is responsible for the behavior of guests and for maintaining a safe event environment.9.3 We are not liable for:

  • Accidents caused by guests

  • Property damage not directly caused by our team

  • Illness resulting from Client-provided food or ingredients


10. Allergies & Dietary Needs

10.1 While we take precautions, we cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free environment.10.2 Client must disclose all allergies in writing.10.3 Chef is not responsible for adverse reactions to foods not disclosed in advance.


11. Photography & Marketing

11.1 We may photograph dishes, table setups, and non-identifiable aspects of the event for marketing purposes unless the Client opts out in writing.11.2 No guest faces or private property will be used without explicit consent.


12. Damage, Loss & Cleaning

12.1 Client is responsible for any damage to equipment, rentals, or property caused by guests.12.2 Standard kitchen cleaning is included; excessive cleaning due to pre-existing conditions may incur additional fees.


13. Force Majeure

We are not liable for failure to perform services due to circumstances beyond our control, including severe weather, illness, emergencies, or government restrictions.


14. Confidentiality

All personal information, event details, and client data will be kept strictly confidential and used solely for service delivery.


15. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of United kingdom , and any disputes shall be resolved under the jurisdiction of those courts.
